Salem’s youth gather in their own Youth Room located across the hall from the gymnasium. It provides an environment where teens may gather safely, be accepted, grow in faith, and learn about Jesus’ love. From high-impact trips such as the LCMS National Youth Gathering to local service events, teens share the love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with others. We have both Senior and Middle school groups. Contact Jeff Kullmann for more information or visit the Salem Youth Group Facebook Page.
Salem’s Senior High Youth Group will host its ninth annual Valentine’s Dinner on Saturday afternoon February 17th starting at 4 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. There is no cost but a free-will offering will be taken. The menu features your choice from two types of pasta, salad, bread and a desert plus your beverage. For all of the details please visit the 2018 Valentine’s Dinner page.
The Senior High Youth Group has a year round service/outreach project to help provide new socks to those who are homeless in the St. Louis area. You’re encouraged to donate new preferably long tube socks. You may place the socks in the box in the Youth Room or the box in the entry foyer.
Calling All Youth with Music or Singing Talent
Salem’s Praise Band practices on Tuesday evenings in the Youth Room. The Praise Band is led by Dale Dalton who provides the leadership to the musicians that could potentially reach a whole new group of people! The youth group is excited to see what God has in store for its ministry.
